At this quarterly meeting, PBLN's Energy & Environment Working Group will discuss current challenges and opportunities regarding business practices and public policy related to energy efficiency, climate change and the clean economy. Speakers and specific topic are TBD.
Chaired by Mitch Tyson, CEO of Advanced Electron Beams, Inc. in partnership with Coordinator Roger Freeman, Principal, Solventerra Energy, in the past this group has addressed the impact of buildings on the environment, and increasing energy access and affordability. Their current focus is the urgency of putting a price on carbon emissions, and the role business can play in addressing climate change as a matter of sound energy, environmental and economic policy and practice.

The Healthcare & Life Sciences Working Group is co-chaired by Jim Roosevelt, President & CEO of Tufts Health Plan, and Joshua Boger, former President & CEO of Vertex Pharmaceuticals and coordinated by Valerie Fleishman, Executive Director of the New England Healthcare Network (NEHI), and Brian Carey, Partner with the law firm Foley Hoag LLP.
